Henri Pruvot named Chairman and CEO of Vectronix Inc.

Frédéric Mazzanti, Executive Vice President, Optronics & Defense division at Sagem (Safran), has appointed Henri Pruvot Chairman and CEO of Vectronix Inc, the United States subsidiary of Sagem.
Henri Pruvot, 56, graduated from the Supelec electrical engineering school. He also holds a post-graduate degree in solid physics from the Sorbonne, and a master's in electrical engineering from Penn State University in the United States.
Henri Pruvot started his career in 1982 with Sagem as an optronics design engineer. After being project manager for thermal imagers and imager business manager, he was named in 1999 R&D department head for thermal imagers, then production manager for the land combat program. In June 2010, he was named director of the thermal imager and portable equipment center of excellence, then director of the optronics equipment program. From then until his appointment at the head of Vectronix Inc, he was director of the portable optronics department in Sagem's Optronics & Defense division.
