The Software Design team (TED) is responsible for the development of SW for safety critical applications in aerospace applications in accordance with the applicable international standards.
It is our key mission to ensure the compliance with schedule and budget commitments, and to implement the relevant quality requirements in compliance with authorities, customers and company demands.
We develop safety critical control systems and software in accordance with the international standards and/or customer requirements and finally support the certification of the software. This includes the software requirement analysis, software architecture, software detailed design as well as model based software design, simulation and automatic generation of source code.
Furthermore we perform SW configuration management in accordance with the international standards as well as customer requirements.
It is part of our activities to manage various coding languages (Assembler, Ada, C/C++, C#, Java, Python, etc.) and to support product integration activities as requested by the customer.
We support the acquisition of new projects by effort estimations and the creation of offers. In addition we are responsible to plan, initiate and monitor outsourced activities.
We ensure the application as well as adaptation of customer processes and maintain and tailor SW plans, standards and work instructions.
The vacancy is a software development position for aircraft control and monitoring systems. You will join a team of engineers designing operating software and application software for embedded systems in safety critical equipment, which is working on next generation controllers for more electrical aircrafts.
Within the Joint venture you will have for missions:
- • Contribution within the development of safety critical embedded real time SW for aircraft systems according to RTCA/DO-178B, Level A to Level D
- • Specification of SW High Level Requirements
- • Development of SW Design
- • SW coding and debugging in C
- • SW debugging
- • Software integration and analysis
- • Configuration control / change management in Dimensions
- • V-model development cycle (preferably of safety critical software acc. to RTCA/DO-178)
- • Experience within the usage of hardware in the loop test facilities
- • Python Test Script Language
- • InCircuit-Debugger (Lauterbach)
- • MISRA guidelines (C)
- • DOORS
- • Configuration management in SVN, or IBM Rational Synergy/Change, or Serena Dimensions
- • IBM - Rational Test RealTime
You graduated from an engineering school (software / electronic engineering).
Your English is fluent (both spoken and written).
You are recognized for flexibility and your adaptation. You had a first experience Software Development and in Programming experience in C and/or Assembler Code.
Specification of high level and low level software requirements (SRS, SDDD).
