Physicist / Development Engineer for Fiber Laser
YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
- - Development of cutting edge fiber lasers from concept to serial product
- - Investigate and evaluate new (fiber) laser technologies (theoretically and in laboratory)
- - Technical support for fiber laser production and improvements during life cycle
- - Understand the interdependence of components in laser range finding technologies
- - Proactive and self-motivated participation in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural project teams
You demonstrate good analytical and communicative skills in combination with a team-oriented and openminded way of working. Together with colleagues from various nationalities, you make a significant contribution to the conception and life cycle support of our products. We are looking for candidates with a Master degree / PhD in physics, optics or related field with strong experience and hands on know-how in (pulsed) high power lasers and optics. You have already worked for a number of years in the field of lasers in academia or in an industrial environment. Ideally, you are familiar with fiber or range finding technologies. Good written and spoken English and German skills complete your profile. French would be a plus.
