Our new SkyNaute family covers requirements for all types of airborne platforms – long range, single aisle and regional airplanes, helicopters and drones. SkyNaute family proposes hybrid inertial/satnav systems like ADIRU (Air Data Inertial Reference Unit) or attitude and heading reference systems like APIRS (Aircraft Piloting Inertial Reference System). We offer innovative navigation suites that can be integrated in critical avionics architectures.
Safran Electronics & Defense offers a complete range of navigation systems that cover all requirements in civil aviation, building on our long experience in the development and certification of all inertial sensor technologies:
- Hybrid navigation systems, combining inertial and satellite sensors, plus air data management:
- ARINC 738 / D0 229C / ARINC 429 / ADIRU with optical (GLR) or vibrating (GRH) gyroscope.
- AHRS: Attitude and Heading Reference System:
- APIRS (Aircraft Piloting Inertial Reference System) with fiber optical gyroscope (FOG).
