Mars (Mission Analysis and Restitution System)

MARS (Mission Analysis and Restitution System) is Safran Electronics & Defense's mission preparation system used in modernization programs for aircraft involved in all types of missions: air-to-air, air-to-ground, reconnaissance, etc.
The MARS system is used to prepare aircraft missions, from downloading digital cartographic data to creating transfer media or flight documents. It is also used to restitute the mission from the parameters recorded during the flight. With open architecture, MARS contains the latest 3D imaging technologies in an ergonomic interface, using graphic tools that allow the crew to optimally manage the tactical situation and accurately define the profile and feasibility of all types of missions.  

Sicops (generic and secure intra/extranet-type command system)

Sicops is a generic and secure intra/extranet-type command system. It is used to supervise the operational activity of an element of armed forces and manage all its resources and means. Built around a cluster of shared services, it offers job modules adapted to the different elements: air, land, marine, police, etc.
Thanks to its collaborative platform, which is shared by all actors in the operational chain, Sicops ensures optimized coordination of operations, with maximum responsiveness. The system simultaneously provides operators with the location of forces and the base's resources, as well as its environment's status (operational conditions of the platform and cleared terrain, alert status, etc.). 

SLPRM (Mission planning and debriefing system)

SLPRM is a highly comprehensive and sophisticated mission planning and debriefing system that can be adapted to all types of missions and aircraft. Used by all French fighter jets in combat operations, it is the only system operational for the Rafale in all its configurations.

Main functions:

  • Creates flight and attack plans
  • Analyzes missions, with video playback
  • Provides tactical situation (flight corridors, positions of threats and ground troops, etc.) and geographical 2D and 3D environment (digital maps, terrain profiles, weather, etc.)
  • Initializes parameters for weapons and electronic systems (weapons, electronic warfare, radio, IFF, MIDS, etc.)
